Fabrizio Ferri
Fabrizio is the CEO of Fincantieri China, an Italian company worldwide leader in shipbuilding, and he is in charge of the implementation of the Group’s entry strategy in the Chinese market based in Shanghai. Under Fabrizio’s leadership in July 2016 Fincantieri and China State Shipbulding Corporation (CSSC) signed a Joint Venture Agreement to build the first ever cruise ship in China.
Fabrizio joined Fincantieri in 2012 as Head of the Strategic Marketing department for the cruise business unit.
Prior to Fincantieri Fabrizio has worked 3 years in China in the industrial and marine sector for a company of Severstal Group, the Russian steel conglomerate, where he started up and managed its Chinese branch. Fabrizio other work experiences consist in 5 years in the Automotive industry, 2 of them spent between USA and Spain, working with high profile customers and government officials.
Fabrizio is an Equity Partner of iStarter, an Italian start-up incubator based in London, and in 2014 he has been selected for the Young Leader Program of the Council for United States and Italy
Fabrizio holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (M.Eng.) from the Italian University of Bologna, Italy, as well as a Master in Business Administration from HULT International Business School from Boston, USA.
