Gianmarco Meli is an entrepreneur with a passion on advising startups' founders and discover new profitable business models.

Born in Sicily, Italy, he's graduated in Economics and Management with a master in "Managing in Emerging Markets" a joint program with Modena University and TongJi University in Shanghai.

He moved in China in 2014, where he started working in marketing positions for Italian companies.
In 2016 he founded Groupmall, a wechat based platform that offers deals on high quality food products that received investments by SOSV through the Chinaccelerator program.

Through his company, he got experience in several industries such as ecommerce, F&B, Import/Export, web development and event catering as a result of his proactive attitude and love for business.

He is an eager reader, Toastmasters member and startup advisor with a growing strong interest in new technologies like AI and blockchain.
