James Harding

James has been based in Shanghai since 2005. He is currently Managing Director at ChinaVest Limited. He advises both privately-held and publicly-owned US companies in China on cross-border strategic and financial matters including China market entry strategy formulation/execution and mergers & acquisitions. He primarily advises companies in the consumer sector including the fast-moving consumer goods, food & beverage, quick-service restaurants, retail, and logistics/distribution industries.

James has a MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (with honors) and a B.A in Economics and Government (with honors) from Claremont McKenna College.
