Michael Lu

Michael was born in Taipei, Taiwan. He and his family immigrated to the United States when he was 11. At the age of 19, Michael graduated from Cornell University at the top of his class and entered Citibank as a business analyst specializing on investment toward Internet start up businesses. After 911, Michael went on a two and half year backpacking expedition around the world. Upon his return, he joined his family business in 2004.

In the years that Michael has been with LTS Group, Michael increased the revenue of the LED and lighting manufacturing operation by 10 fold and helped Jinn Lighting, a subsidiary of LTS Group, become the largest maker of task and functional lighting in the world. Since 2012, Michael has been made CEO of LTS Group and is responsible for its global operation.
