Wei Hopeman

Wei is a Co-founder and Managing Partner of Arbor Ventures, the largest FinTech focused VC in Asia. Arbor aims to shape the way the world transacts by investing in early stage companies that enable frictionless transactions across financial services and digital commerce. As a thought leader in the global FinTech community, Wei was named to the Top 38 Fintech Influencers in Asia, the 2016 Fintech Asia 100 and the AlwaysOn 2015 Power Players in Fintech.

Prior to Arbor, Wei was Managing Director and Head of Asia at Citi Ventures, Citigroup's strategic venture investment and innovation arm. She established the Asian operations, invested in and incubated new technologies and strategies to accelerate disruption for the bank.

Wei is a founding member of the Internet Securities Services Committee established by the Chinese Securities Regulatory Commission, a founding steering committee member of AngelVest and a member of the Young President’s Organization.

Wei holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA from Pomona College.
